Training & Technical Assistance

Training and technical assistance – take a variety of forms and is developed to be responsive to the unique needs of the organization being supported.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion - Services range from short-term to more layered and comprehensive, longer-term involvement and cover a variety of topics related to addressing the social determinants or health, health disparities or inequitable outcomes for under resourced communities.

Capacity Building for Early-Stage Businesses - Services vary based on the needs of each business but covers topics related to four pillars in business: Mindset, Management, Marketing and Money. Some services are provided in collaboration with subject matter experts from other businesses.

The objectives of Visionary Vanguard Group’s training and technical assistance services are to:

  • Increase knowledge and use of best practices

  • Develop or identify resources on improving quality of care and outcomes for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), individuals with limited English proficiency and small business owned by from Socially, Economically and Disadvantaged Individuals (SEDI)

  • Provide personalized guidance and resources to help organizations embed health equity into their strategic planning processes, and achieve equitable outcomes

  • Assist with data collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting

  • Support organizations in navigating government and private funding (e.g. from Grants and Contracts).
